CARING FOR YOUR CHILD

Line_Yellow_edited.png

The Eveline Day and Nursery Schools are a family run business with 51 years experience in Childcare. We provide full day care from 7:30am to 6:30pm 51 weeks a year.

Our nurseries are a reflection of the home, providing a warm, loving, secure environment in which your child will thrive to reach his/her full potential. All of our staff are trained in Childcare and over 50% are qualified. Staff are carefully chosen by our Principal and Deputy for their dedication to Childcare.

All the children in our care follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, from young babies to five years old. Each child is assigned a Key Person who is responsible for following their progress using an EYFS Tracking system including a Scrapbook. This will include their art work, junk modelling, Literacy and Numeracy, plus activity photographs which help us to record observations of their progression and development throughout different stages.

When your child joins our nursery, we aim to support you and other carers to help your child settle quickly and easily by giving consideration to the individual needs and circumstances of every child and family. Our aim is for children to feel safe, stimulated and happy in the nursery and to feel secure and comfortable with all staff. We also want parents to have confidence in both their children’s continued well-being and their role as active partners, with the child being able to benefit from what the nursery has to offer.

At the Eveline Day and Nursery Schools we believe that parents and staff need to work together in a close partnership, in order for children to receive the quality of care and early learning, to meet their individual needs.

We welcome parents as partners and support a two-way sharing of information that helps establish trust and understanding.

We are committed to supporting parents in an open and sensitive manner to be an integral part of the care and early learning team within the nursery.

Encouragement and praise are fundamental in our nurseries so that the children in our care grow in self-confidence

and have high self-esteem.
