We advise you to arrange a show around with your chosen nurseries. You can do this by contacting the nursery manager direct. If there is money outstanding to the Nursery, this will be deducted from the deposit.
GOVERNMENT FUNDING
15 HOURS FUNDED CHILDCARE
All 3 and 4-year-old's are entitled to 15 hours per week of funded early education and childcare for 38 weeks per year. This amounts to a total of 570 hours per year. As we are open all year round, we stretch the funding across the year i.e. approximately 11 hours per week. A child becomes eligible from the term following their third birthday. Parents of eligible children are not required to take any action as EDNS will apply for this funding on their behalf.
30 HOURS FUNDED CHILDCARE
Some working parents of 3 and 4-year old's may be eligible for an extra 15 hours a week. To view the eligibility criteria and to apply, please click here. HMRC will issue an 11-digit code to parents of eligible children. The parent who applied will need to reconfirm their details to HMRC and their Local Authority every 3 months.
TAX FREE CHILDCARE
For every £8 a parent pays into the child account the Government pays a £2 top-up into the account. The Government will pay up to £2000 per year (or £4000 per year for a disabled child). Visit here for further information.
