**New** for 2021- MOLLY'S MINDFUL MOVEMENT

Molly’s Mindful Movement is an in-house activity created in conjunction with the founders of EDNS to help continue their commitment to bring awareness and improvement to mental health and emotional well-being for all in our community. Molly’s Mindful Movement creates a holding space, which has been programmed to teach early years children the essence of being themselves in a creative space, where they can be seen, heard, and valued in their peer group. Believing that all children need to have a voice in life for freedom of expression and growth. Molly has a Level 6 Diploma in professional dance and musical theatre and is currently studying NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Early Years to support her program and strengthen her own understanding about children. and their development.

Molly's Mindful movement program works in line with the early years topics and themes whilst also meeting national curriculum requirements. Children will engage with the teacher and their peers through mindfulness techniques, along with physical movement through dance, singing and acting. All these techniques are intended to support physical, social, emotional, and intellectual wellbeing.

FOREST SCHOOL

All of our Explorers (aged 3yrs plus) participate in Forest School Learning. This is an innovative educational approach to outdoor play and learning. The philosophy of Forest Schools is to encourage and inspire individuals of all ages to discover and learn through positive outdoor experiences. Forest schools use the woods and forests as a means to build independence and self-esteem in a natural environment. It develops motivational, emotional and social skills, through self-awareness so that all children can be developed to their full potential.
