Staff

The majority of our employees hold a recognised qualification in Child Care, there is on-going in-house training linked to the various agencies; the staff undergoing training are assessed at their workplace by qualified Assessors. A high percentage of our staff qualify in NVQs each year. Throughout the year we have training days with the Early Years Network. References are taken up by Eveline Day Nursery Schools on all staff and followed up by Police Checks.

Each child will be allocated a key worker who will be your primary source of contact for you and your child. In Eveline Day Nursery School teacher sand key workers set aside time to plan and evaluate a curriculum to help your child develop academically and socially.

Staff make regular assessments, observations and reports, which are kept from the time the child enters the nursery and are available for parents to inspect at any time.

We have an Educational Consultant, Angela Guiliani who is attached to the nurseries and school. She is available on a weekly basis to advice and consult with teachers, parents and children. She gives regular in-house training to EDNS staff and gives talks to parents on Open Evenings.

At Eveline Day Nursery Schools we have our own Health & Safety Offices who visits, each nursery every two weeks to assess the health & safely at each branch.

We select our staff for their sensitivity and knowledge. They should be able to offer a way of life which, while seeming informal, in fact support and substantiates both children and adults. Our staff are instructed that the emotional care of the child is as important as the physical care. Our Nursery schools are staffed with a high proportion of qualified and experienced staff i.e. NNEB, BTEC, NVQ trained staff and PPA. Through the years we have developed our own programme to provide your child with what we think is best in education.
